More than 50 students from Lebanese American University stepped into the heart of Bchaaleh to experience how nature, heritage, and accessibility can come together on the ground.
Through the Access to Nature Program led by Lebanon Mountain Trail Association, in collaboration with Bchaaleh Municipality and Bchaaleh Trails Association, students explored the role of accessible tourism in promoting the inclusion and participation of persons with disabilities in outdoor and cultural experiences.
The visit also gave participants the opportunity to connect with the cultural heritage and natural richness of the region while emphasizing the importance of accessibility and equal access to nature for all.
