In celebration of Earth Day, Bchaaleh Trails Association, in collaboration with Ms Randa Wehbe, organized a day of reflection, creativity, and hope on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
The journey began with a short video created by members of the Youth Pathfinders, celebrating cherished memories and stories from Bchaaleh’s rich heritage. The participants then discussed the video and reflected on the heartfelt stories and encouragements shared by the villagers.
The youth then divided into three rotating groups, where children, parents, and local residents worked side by side, reflecting on the village’s past, discussed its present realities, and shared dreams for the future.
A lively discussion followed, during which each group drafted pledges for Bchaaleh’s future. These ideas were later united into one vision and the youth pledged the following: keeping Bchaaleh clean, visiting and supporting its residents, encouraging farming, preserving its heritage, protecting the millennial olive trees, and contributing to stronger infrastructure and thriving local organizations.
The day concluded in celebration of the 4th anniversary of Bchaaleh Trails Association, four years of connecting people to nature, heritage, and one another.
In Bchaaleh, roots run deep and the future continues to grow.
